South Central PA

South Central, PA is a DMA with over 2M people and contains the metro areas of Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Lebanon and Reading. Each metro area has their own local office along with local property managers and a maintenance team.

Judah Hoover, a life-long Lancaster county resident, is the VP of Business Development for South Central PA. Judah has spent his entire career in real estate including investing, flipping, mortgage lending, property management, wholesaling, and leading various meetup groups. Lehigh Valley, PA

Lehigh Valley is anchored by the Allentown, PA office and includes Bethlehem, Easton, and the surrounding counties of Lehigh and Northampton. With approx. 1M residents, Lehigh Valley is the 3rd largest DMA in Pennsylvania. While historically a mining and manufacturing hub, Lehigh Valley has grown its health care and warehousing economy dramatically.


Philadelphia, PA

The Philadelphia Market is one is the fastest growing markets of SlateHouse and a rapidly appreciating market. Home to over 6M in the greater DMA, Philadelphia has a wide variety of investment opportunities. The local SlateHouse team works closely with the local Philadelphia court system and various landlord-tenant agencies in the city to stay on top of the ever changing legislation.

Paige Jimenez is the GM and head of business development for SlateHouse in Philadelphia. Paige brings with her a successful career in architecture, focusing specifically on the layout of real estate investment properties.

Baltimore, MD

The Baltimore Market offers better cash flow than other large major cities in the Northeast due to it’s reasonable property value to rent ratio. SlateHouse has its local office located conveniently off of I-83, which is a major transportation hub along the east coast.

Brian Neary is the Director of Operations for the Baltimore market. Brian is one of SlateHouse’s longest tenured operations leaders and leads a great Baltimore team that is growing quickly.

New Jersey

The New Jersey region has higher rent values on average than other surrounding markets. SlateHouse’s largest New Jersey office is located in the the State Capital of NJ in the Trenton Hive, a modern co-working space in downtown Trenton.

Roland Pott brings a lifetime of commercial, investing, and realty experience as the leader of the NJ SlateHouse team. Roland is also the broker of record for NJ and loves to tutor investors of all ages and experience types.

Hampton Roads, Virginia

Hampton Roads covers 7 cities in SouthEastern Virginia and over 1.5M people in the DMA. SlateHouse has one office in the “Peninsula” in Newport News and another office in Norfolk, VA. Virginia is one of SlateHouse’s fastest growing markets with a wide mix of SFH’s and multi-family real estate.

LaCena Hawkins is the SlateHouse Director of Operations in Virginia. LaCena leads a group of 7 property managers with over 100 years of combined property management experience in the region.

Scranton,

Pennsylvania

Scranton is a metro area in North East Pennsylvania with a little of 500,000 people. It is a 2 hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia. A new revitalization period has attracted many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars have opened in the downtown, creating a vibrant night-life. The low cost of living, pedestrian-friendly downtown, and the construction of loft-style apartments in older, architecturally significant buildings have attracted young professionals and artists.

Que Tran is the general manager of this region. She has previously worked in the property management industry and I a licensed real estate agent.

SlateHouse has an amazing group of advisors whose charter is to help SlateHouse continue its ongoing innovation in the property management space. The board assists in prioritization of new technology and process, while acting as a sounding board for the best and brightest concepts across all things real estate.

Matt Faircloth: Matt is CEO of Derosa Group which has invested across 6 states and acquired over $100M in real estate. Matt is a lead contributor on BiggerPockets, wrote the highly popular book “Raising Private Capital”, and is a co-leader of the Trenton Real Estate Hackers Meetup.

Phil Capron: Phil has vast real estate experience including ownership of over 450 units located in Coastal Virginia. His model is to partner with talented industry professionals and assemble win-win partnerships to acquire and revitalize distressed and underperforming assets to ensure profitability for his team. Phil is also a senior mentor with the Michael Blank organization. Phil continues to utilize his lessons learned from previously serving honorably as a Naval Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman (SWCC) in the Navy. Mark Horst: Mark brings immense experience in the expertise of new construction of rental units as a leader at Vanguard Construction. Vanguard has built over 1,000 new construction units and brings an innovative approach with its open rental unit floorplan.
